How it works
Amlodipine is a calcium channel blocker. It blocks the action of calcium on the heart and blood vessels. This lowers the blood pressure, abnormally fast heartbeat and reduces strain on the heart following a heart attack & Metoprolol is a beta blocker that works specifically on the heart. It works by slowing heart rate and relaxing blood vessels to improve blood flow to the organ.
