Used for
Calcitriol is a synthetic active form of vitamin D. Calcitriol is used to treat calcium deficiency (hypocalcemia) and metabolic bone disease (renal osteosytrophy) in people who are receiving dialysis. Calcitriol is also used to treat hyperparathyroidism and metabolic bone disease in people who have chronic kidney failure and are not receiving dialysis.

Vomiting, Urge to vomit, Increased thirst, Drowsiness or confusion, Constipation
