How it works
Aspirin(asa) is a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID). It works by blocking the release of certain chemical messengers that cause fever, pain, swelling, and blood clots. Atorvastatin blocks an enzyme (HMG-Co-reductase) that is required in the body to make cholesterol. As a result, it lowers the level of cholesterol in the body. Clopidogrel prevents platelets from sticking together, which decreases the formation of harmful blood clots.
